"I originally joined the council as an ICT Apprentice and have since progressed to become a Junior Analyst/Developer. My Apprenticeship involved a variety of work including creating program designs and software from specifications, identifying people's information technology requirements, analysing data and system testing.

In my current position as Junior Analyst/Developer there is a clear career path leading to a degree qualification via distance learning. This additional training will help me to reach my goal of an Analyst/Developer.

I feel really lucky to be where I am now and know that it would have been impossible without the council's Apprenticeship scheme."
